The Project
On the 3rd of June 1968 Valerie Solanas walked into the Andy Warhol Factory in Manhattan and shot Warhol three times in the chest and belly with a 32- caliber automatic she had stowed in a paper bag. At the hospital Warhol was pronounced clinically dead, doctors massaged his heart and operated on his ravaged organs for five hours to save him.
